2021 In Review

The boys strap in for the final time of 2021 - this week’s episode is dedicated to reviewing the year that was. We seemingly end this year on a sombre note, with the grim spectre of Covid towering over us. Kush is absent this week as he is quarantining, meanwhile the other boys record in a socially distanced manner - mask and all.

We begin with Rohit’s holiday shenanigans as the man prepares to go to the most unvaxxed place in Australia. The boys then briefly run through their years and give us a rating for 2021.

Our game this week is the always trusty “News or Not.” A quick recap, Sen reads out some outrageous headlines from 2021 and Ro and Migs have to decide if these are real news stories or indeed fake news.

Finally, we end the episode with a fan favourite segment “Compare and Contrast” where we debate and rank various things, this week in keeping up with our theme, we rank the months of 2021. We go back through the archives, memory banks and camera roll and rank the months of the year on a scale of the Gregorian calendar to the Mayan calendar.

Also this week: Covid conundrums, Byron Bay, Florida Man, woke coke and Freedom Day.

Segments this week:

The Logue: Tired of reaching around each other (at least on the podcast), the boys have instead decided to reach around the week’s news stories, events and viral trends.

News or Not: With fake news as rampant as ever, the boys delve into some headlines and determine what is real and what is not the news.

Compare and Contrast: Named in honour of our favourite HSC English essay questions, the boys debate the most pressing issues in society and attempt to agree on a ranked tier list, which may end up in broken friendships and definitely will end up being wrong.
